One of the most popular farmer’s markets in Honolulu, the Kapiolani Community College bi-weekly market always attracts a crowd. Parking can be difficult, so plan to arrive early! Visitors can grab a meal and enjoy the live music while they browse the wide array of local produce, jewelry, crafts, desserts, and more.KCC Farmers Market-1

The succulent booth is always one of my favorites!

KCC Farmers Market-3In addition to lemonade and coffee drinks, ready-to-eat food items including crepes, seared ahi, omelets, burgers, local fare, southern cooking (with a Hawaiian twist), and much more can be purchased from local food and restaurant vendors. It is typically hot in this area of town, but there are numerous shade trees throughout the market area that provide a great spot to sit down and rest.Be sure to sample some goodies from the culinary students at the KCC Culinary Students booth, and stop by the Oahu Master Gardener stand if you have a gardening or local plant question. Also, take a moment to enjoy the impressive cacti garden fronting the parking lot!
